About the Author

John Allin is the foremost expert in the snow removal industry. He currently shares his expertise with snow contractors through his consulting practice, educational seminars, columns in Snow magazine and the books that he has authored.

John's snow removal business career began when he was 16 and flourished as he built his company to serve more than 5,000 sites in 42 states.

John is credited as being one of the founding members of the Snow & Ice Management Association (SIMA) and served as SIMA Board President from 1996 to June 2002.
